EMEM ISONG BAGS 'FEMALE MOVIE PRODUCER OF THE YEAR' AT THE 2012 ELOY AWARDS
This year has certainly been a good year for Royal Arts Academy as we have carted away awards for our various hard works. From GIAMA to BON, the awards keep coming in.
Yesterday November 25th was another good day for us as the Chairman/CEO of Royal Arts Academy, Emem Isong, received the ELOY 2012 'Female Movie Producer of the Year' award for the movie 'I'll Take My Chances'. Other nominees in the group include: Blessing Egbe (Two Brides & A Baby), Chineze Xandria- Anyaene (Ije) , Chinwe Egwuagu (Mr & Mrs), Funke Akindele- Oloyede (The Return of Jenifa) and Uche Jombo (Damage)
The award ceremony took place at the Porsche Showroom Center, Victoria Island.

'OKON GOES TO SCHOOL' PREMIERES!
The much anticipated premiere of 'Okon Goes To School' the hilarious sequel to the movie, 'Okon Lagos' has took place on the 16th of November with much pomp and pageantry. The movie which is the third effort (after OKON LAGOS & KOKOMMA) by writer/producer/director Uduak Oguamanam was well received by the appreciative audience who comprised of industy heavy weights like Emem Isong, Uche Jombo, Desmond Elliot, Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha, Zik Zulu Okafor, Mike Nliam to name a few. Imeh Bishop Umoh will hit the big screens again in the hilarious comedy Okon Goes To School.
The movie which is a sequel to the critically and commercially successful film Okon Lagos follows the life of Okon the hunter who after squandering his millions, decides to go back to school to start all over again. But is Okon ready for life in the university or is the university ready for Okon and his crazy antics.

ROYAL ARTS PRESENTS '25' AT AKWA IBOM'S 25th ANNIVERSARY!
Akwa Ibom marked its 25th anniversary and Royal Arts presented a stage play titled '25' as part of the festivities for the occasion. The production which outlined in drama, music and dance, the birth, development and acheivement made by Akwa Ibom as a state starred Ini Edo, Emem Isong, Bishop Umoh, Ini Ikpe-Etukudo, Ekere Nkanga, Moses Armstrong and special guest appearance from 'Mr Osuofia' himself Nkem ' Owo! The production was written by Uduak Isong Oguamanam and Kehinde Joseph and Sunkanmi Adebayo. It was directed by Sunkanmi Adebayo and dance sequences were choreographed by Uche Onah of Ijodee Dance Company. Enjoy the lovely pics!
