ROYAL ARTS ACADEMY HOLDS EXAMS FOR THEIR 2012 BATCH ‘A’ STUDENTS.



On Wednesday July 24th, the 2012 Batch ‘A’ students of Royal Arts Academy had their final exams. The students were required to put all they had learnt into performance before a panel of judges which included:

Yinka Ogun: Renowned screenwriter and creator of the Mnet soap opera ‘Tinsel’
Doris:  Screenwriter, producer and director.
Uduak Isong Oguamanam: Screenwriter & producer who is also the Managing Director of Royal Arts Academy.
Anthony Kehinde Joseph: Screenwriter & teacher at Royal Arts Academy.



Each student performed two monologues after which their performances were appraised by the judges. Yinka Ogun rewarded a lucky student, Miriam Usifo a role on his production while Nollywood actress Uche Jombo had a talk with them where she emphasized the importance of hardwork and dedication in the quest to make it in the movie industry and that nothing good comes easy.

COMING TO DVD THIS AUGUST: 'HOLDING HOPE, KOKOMMA & BROKEN SILENCE'



Come August 2012, Royal Arts Academy will be releasing three of their latest films: HOLDING HOPE, KOKOMMA & BROKEN SILENCE.

HOLDING HOPE




Sidney Badmus is the handsome, charming playboy of a son who is the heir apparent to the Badmus vast fortunes. An irresponsible, alcoholic, Sydney’s  philandering has caused his mother Mrs Badmus a lot of sadness and concern making her take some drastic measures to  forestall the inevitable collapse of the Badmus Empire if left in the hands of Sidney.  Enter Hope, the delectable, hardworking and prudent Group Accountant. Mrs Badmus sees her as the daughter she never had and secretly schemes to make Sidney marry her. This plan is met with serious resistance from not just Sydney but his girlfriend, Sabina who will stop at nothing to see that Sydney is hers and the Badmus millions remain within their grasp.

'CATWALQ' NOW SHOWING AT NEW TIMES!

"Catwalq' the popular glamourous soap showing on TV Continental, Lagos has been moved to a new viewing time! It now shows on Fridays at 8pm every week so be sure tune in!
Catwalq stars Monalisa Chinda, Memry Savanhu, Uru Eke, Joy Scrase, Susan Peters, Desmond Elliot, Kenneth Okolie and a host of others.  It was produced by Emem Isong & Monalisa Chinda and directed by Desmond Elliot.  It was written by Bola Aduwo, Uduak Oguamanam and Rita Onwurah.
