'UNGUARDED' TO SCREEN IN CINEMAS FROM FEBRUARY 8TH




The movie UNGUARDED will be screening in cinemas from the 8th of February 2013.


Produced by Chisom Oz- Lee and directed by Desmond Elliot and Bethels Agumuoh it parades some of the best Nollywood stars which include Ramsey Noah, Uche Jombo, Chisom Oz-Lee, Chet Anekwe, and Desmond Elliot.

SYNOPSIS 
Elvin is the apparent successor to SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS, a multi-million million dollar company is thrown into the deep end when he discovers that his fiancée Natasha is having an affair with his father.

He takes out his revenge on other women, wooing them with his warm and charming personality till he weaves his way into their hearts and subsequently ditches them at the altar.

He meets his latest victim in Jane, an African journalist who works in Cool’s Magazine. In order to get close to her, Elvin takes up a job as a cleaner with the magazine. Somehow a genuine romantic entanglement ensues between them. Caught in the heat of the moment, Elvin proposes to Jane  which she accepts. 

His proposal triggers sudden unexpected visits and calls that sow a seed of skepticism in Jane’s mind. Undeterred by the circumstance, Elvin insists on winning Jane over even if he has to undergo personality transformation.

KOKOMMA TO SCREEN AT THE NFVCB ROAD SHOW IN CALABAR



The National Film & Video Censors Board (NFCVB) is organizing a road show in Calabar, Cross Rivers State today and our movie Kokomma was selected to be screened at the roadshow.

Already in Calabar to witness this are Uduak Isong Oguamanam (Producer of the movie), Belinda Effah (Lead actress) and Emem Isong (Chairman/CEO Royal Arts Academy)

EMEM ISONG BAGS 'FEMALE MOVIE PRODUCER OF THE YEAR' AT THE 2012 ELOY AWARDS


This year has certainly been a good year for Royal Arts Academy as we have carted away awards for our various hard works. From GIAMA to BON, the awards keep coming in.

Yesterday November 25th was another good day for us as the Chairman/CEO of Royal Arts Academy, Emem Isong, received the ELOY 2012 'Female Movie Producer of the Year' award for the movie 'I'll Take My Chances'. Other nominees in the group include: Blessing Egbe (Two Brides & A Baby), Chineze Xandria- Anyaene (Ije) , Chinwe Egwuagu (Mr & Mrs), Funke Akindele- Oloyede (The Return of Jenifa) and Uche Jombo (Damage)

The award ceremony took place at the Porsche Showroom Center, Victoria Island.

'OKON GOES TO SCHOOL' PREMIERES!


The much anticipated premiere of 'Okon Goes To School' the hilarious sequel to the movie, 'Okon Lagos' has took place on the 16th of  November with much pomp and pageantry.  The movie which is the third effort (after OKON LAGOS & KOKOMMA) by writer/producer/director Uduak Oguamanam was well received by the appreciative audience who comprised of industy heavy weights like Emem Isong, Uche Jombo, Desmond Elliot, Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha, Zik Zulu Okafor, Mike Nliam to name a few.
