MEDIA CONFERENCE HOLDS FOR ‘APAYE; A MOTHER’S LOVE’!
On February 10th, the press conference for the movie ‘Apaye: A Mother’s Love was held in Lagos. A select member of the press that cut across television & the print media were on hand to be briefed on the new movie. They took the opportunity to watch the film and interview members of the cast and crew. Here is announcing the new films just released from the foremost film making company Royal Arts Academy. They are; ‘After the Proposal’ – a hilarious movie about a mother on a mission to get her three daughter of marriageable age, into husbands houses! One gets proposed to and the family faces another round of wahala to get the items necessary for her Bride price. Starring Uche Jombo, Patience Ozorkwor, Belinda Effah, Theresa Edem, Anthony Monjaro, Keira Hewatch and Sean Faqua. The movie was written & co-produced by Uduak Oguamanam. Uche Jombo was co-produced and starred in it. Desmond Elliot directed it. A must watch! Buy it at a video shop near you now!
Next is the hilarious but educative ‘Before God & Man’ (aka Uduakobong). This is a grass to grace story about a young lady Uduakobong who was a cleaner in an office that was maltreated because of her social standing. By dint of hard work and availing herself of the Free Education opportunity given by her State Government, she went to school and became a woman to be reckoned with. The movie stars Ini Edo-Ehiagwina, Patience Ozokwor, Desmond Elliot, Moses Armstrong. Ime Bishop Umoh etc. Produced by Emem Isong and directed by Desmond Elliot.

'APAYE' SET FOR RELEASE THIS MARCH!
Soon set for release from the stables of Royal Arts Academy productions is the sensational movie, 'Apaye; A Mother's Love'. Inspired by true events, 'Apaye' is the story of Elder Irene Yepayeye Uriah, born in the creeks of what is now Bayelsa State, abandoned by her husband and left to fend for her six children, she struggled and toiled to provide for her family and to make sure they enjoyed a life that she never had. Against the odds, she became a woman of substance in a community that never believed any good could come from her.
Starring Clarion Chukwurah, Kanayo O.Kanayo, Belinda Effah, Mbong Amata, produced by Emem Isong and directed by Desmond Elliot. Set for release on March 7th.

ROYAL ARTS ACADEMY 2013 END OF YEAR & PRIZE GIVING DAY!
Royal Arts Academy, the media school founded by prolific producer Emem Isong marked their Prize Giving Day and End of Year party in grand style. The event took place at Gee’s Place Lounge in Lekki Phase 1 was graced by several celebrity friends of the house such as Philip & Ini Edo Ehiagwina, Omoni & Nnamdi Oboli, Rukky Sanda, Stephanie Okereke – Linus, Uduak Oguamanam and many more. It was a fun and lovely affair as certificates were given out to graduates of the school, many of which have gone on to act in several films, television and stage productions. After handing out of certificates, all danced till the wee hours of the morning. The academy is situated in Surulere and offers three months courses in Acting, Elocution, Scriptwriting and many other courses. Check out the lovely pics.

Lagos Cougars’ the much awaited offering from the award winning producer, Emem Isong took place in Lagos to much fanfare. Invited guests were thrilled to watch the new flick from the talented producer who continues to set trends and lift the bar, even after all this time. The premiere was well attended by celebrities from the entertainment industry and many were treated to a lovely evening of fun, laughter and good cheer. The mood of the premiere was casual and it was obvious as most followed the code of dressing down in ‘Lagos Cougar’ branded T shirts. The movie was produced by Emem Isong and directed by Desmond Elliot.
