DALLAS PREMIERE OF HOLDING HOPE ROCKS!

Dallas - A remarkable Nollywood movie “Holding Hope” was premiered in Dallas, Texas; courtesy of Nkiruka Entertainment, Townkrier.com, and Golden Icons. Testimonial comments at the Red Carpet Premiere of this movie by the Royal Arts Academy cast members, who flew in all the way from Lagos, Nigeria, described everything about the event as classy, different, nice, and excellent. Based on such positive comments and feedback, it was not a surprise to witness the VIP section of the theater being SOLD OUT. It was also nice to see that this wonderful production “Holding Hope” was packed with intrigue, excitement, and entertainment scenes, which left the fans in a delighted state.

The overall aftermath of the Premiere of “Holding Hope” in Dallas left the city with the beginning of good things to come. The African community in Dallas came out in droves to support their own stars. It also appeared like the timing of this premiere was planned – as it coincided with the birthday of one of the Executive Directors “Emem Isong”, and a surprise birthday cake was presented to her at the hosts, Ifeoma Nkiru’s family house.

Upon our arrival at the “Studio Movie Grill” theater, the press along with the fans and guests were already waiting outside to welcome the Nollywood Stars with their Canon and Nikon flash lights. Desmond stepped out with a big smile, while shaking his fans in his shinning-custom Italian cut suit. Uche Jombo, Emem Isong, Rukky Sanda, and their invited friends were all looking gorgeous and slick in their glamorous evening dresses as well.

Jessica Isiguzor aka J.I, the Nollywood Movie “Rebound” Lead actress was also present at the premiere. Another guest of honor that accompanied the Nollywood stars to the event was Julie Odia, the publisher of WOW magazine, who was also present to show her support and love to the cast of Holding Hope. Uche Jombo is currently featured on the front cover of the latest Wow magazine. The after party followed immediately at the upscale West Quarter Lounge.

BURSTING OUT & 'HOLDING HOPE'... How it all went!

T'was a super-star studded affair! We had stars from the music industry, film world, comedy scene .... suffice to say it was very well attened! Roll call read like a who is who in the entertainment yellow pages. Genevieve Nnaji, Stella Damasus, Sammy Okposo, Monalisa Chinda, Zik Zulu Okafor, Susan Peters, Nadia Buari and Majid Michel flew in all the way from Ghana...and ofcourse the hosts, Emem Isong, Desmond Elliot and Uche Jombo.... the turn out was awesome with many having to be turned back! Those that were opportuned to enter to see the movies, had to contend with others that were standing and many more sitting on the aisle! It was amazing! The event started with the Red Carpet event, interviews by press from both local and international TV stations. Cocktails and small chops were on hand for interested guests. Then at about 7pm the screening started and many were engulfed in the humorous chick flick that is Bursting Out. Immediately after, the screening of Holding Hope began. It was a heart wrenching, tear-jerker that left many in tears. Guests then left with their goodie bags.
