Royal Arts Academy: Birthing Future Filmmakers

Saturday, December 18, 2010

As the year ends....

It was a tough year but because of you, our ship didn’t sink. Your support kept us afloat and we are grateful for it. Royal Arts Academy graduated two sets of students yesterday. Outstanding students were presented with awards and there was much to drink and eat.

RAA is not just a training institution but a youth empowerment centre. We don’t just teach you how to act, we make sure you act so that when you step into the outside world, you have something to show for it, an edge over a million people vying for the same role as you. The first batch of students all featured in CATWALQ, our soap which will hit your screens in the second quarter of next year. It’s the biggest thing in recent times and will be a major break for the students.
For the second batch, we’re already working on their own tv series. RAA made a promise and KEPT it.

The next RAA session starts in Febuary and will run till April but registration opens January 3rd. Spaces are always limited.
