ROYAL ARTS ACADEMY SHOOTS STUDENT'S FILM!

In what must be cheering news to many, Royal Arts Academy has started shooting its very first production, fully acted and manned by students of the school!

The school which kicked off in 2010 has finally fulfilled its promise of producing its first production using mostly students from the academy. They acted in front of the camera and manywere behind the scenes, in the capacity as make up artistes, costumiers, production managers, assistant cameramen, production assistants etc.

The organisation is running into its 2nd year now and has so far churned out over two hundred graduants; many of whom have gone on to star in major productions on television & in Nollywood.  The School Dean of Studies, Uduak Oguamana says; 'It is important for people to see the wealth of talent that abounds in our students, thats why we have decided to shoot the film. Though some have appeared in some of our productions and soaps this particular production was written specifically with them in mind. I believe they will go far with it.'
In the same vein; Proprietor of the school Emem Isong said; 'At Royal Arts Academy, we keep our promises! Our vision is to be the foremost Media academy that produces future stars. That is exactly what we are doing'.

'IDOMO' - NEW FILM RELEASED BY ROYAL ARTS ACADEMY!

A new film released by Royal Arts Academy is the Ibibio language film starring Ini Edo, Nse Ikpe Etim, Moses Armstrong and Ime Bishop Umoh to name a few.  
It was produced by Emem Isong & directed by Desmond Elliot. Its in stores now so grab your copy while stock lasts!

LAGOS PREMIERE Of I'LL TAKE MY CHANCES THIS FEBRUARY!


The much anticipated movie, 'I'll Take My Chances' premieres and screens in Lagos at the SilverBird Galleria on the 24th February 2012! Tickets soon go on sale! 
The movie was produced by Emem Isong & Ini Edo and directed by Desmond Elliot. Screenplay was by Kehinde Joseph, Uduak Oguamanam & Bola Aduwo. It stars Ini Edo, Bryan Okwara, Jide Kosoko, Biola Williams, Lilian Ini Ikpe, Late Sam Loco Efe and others.  They are ably supported by a retinue of dancers and showcase the best of what Africa has to offer.
‘I’ll Take My Chances’ will be premiered in Lagos on the 24th of February and screened at all major cinema outlets, nationwide.

EXCLUSIVE: GLAMOUROUS SOAP 'CATWALQ' SET FOR VIEWING SOON!


The much anticipated soap, 'Catwalq' is set for veiwing on your TV Screens! This info was officially revealed to Bola Aduwo of Nollywooduncut by Royal Arts Academy M.D, Emem Isong and producer of the soap. According to her, 'Catwalq is a 26 episode Soap about three ladies, Kima, Paris and Wange who run a fashion magazine . The soap explores their lives, loves, relationships and work in the glamourous exciting world of high fashion'.


In another chat with Monalisa Chinda, Executive Producer and lead actress in the soap, 'We spent alot of time and money making sure we have a top notch production. We hired top level stylists to handle costumes and we are sure Nigerians will enjoy what we have to offer.

The soap stars Monalisa Chinda, Memry Savanhu, Joy Scrase, Uru Eke, former Mr Nigeria Kenneth Okolie, NAFCA award winner- Susan Peters and several Royal Arts Academy Alumni - Vanessa Koko, Lelee Byoma, Ijeoma etc. The production was directed by Desmond Elliot and screenplay was written by Rita C. Onwurah, Uduak Oguamanam and Bola Aduwo.
