EXCLUSIVE: GLAMOUROUS SOAP 'CATWALQ' SET FOR VIEWING SOON!
The much anticipated soap, 'Catwalq' is set for veiwing on your TV Screens! This info was officially revealed to Bola Aduwo of Nollywooduncut by Royal Arts Academy M.D, Emem Isong and producer of the soap. According to her, 'Catwalq is a 26 episode Soap about three ladies, Kima, Paris and Wange who run a fashion magazine . The soap explores their lives, loves, relationships and work in the glamourous exciting world of high fashion'.
In another chat with Monalisa Chinda, Executive Producer and lead actress in the soap, 'We spent alot of time and money making sure we have a top notch production. We hired top level stylists to handle costumes and we are sure Nigerians will enjoy what we have to offer.
The soap stars Monalisa Chinda, Memry Savanhu, Joy Scrase, Uru Eke, former Mr Nigeria Kenneth Okolie, NAFCA award winner- Susan Peters and several Royal Arts Academy Alumni - Vanessa Koko, Lelee Byoma, Ijeoma etc. The production was directed by Desmond Elliot and screenplay was written by Rita C. Onwurah, Uduak Oguamanam and Bola Aduwo.

THE PREMIERE OF ' I'LL TAKE MY CHANCES!
The premiere of the much anticipated movie, 'I'll Take My Chances' took place at the newly commissioned Governor's Banquet Hall in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on 24th September 2011.
The event which was put together by Emem Isong & Ini Edo the producers of the film was supported by the Akwa Ibom State Government. In what could only aptly be described as a 'homecoming', 'I'll Take My Chances' the hit movie was premiered in Uyo to mark the climax of week-long activities put together by the State in commemoration of Akwa Ibom's 24th year Anniversary. In an unprecedented move the powers that be went all out to support their two illustrious daughter who had made their state very proud by excelling in their fields. The premiere proper was witnessed by high profile guests, top government functionaries in the state including His Excellency, Governor Godswill Akpabio who took time out of his very busy schedule to not just attend but at a point even MC the occasion! THE STARS DAZZLE AT THE PREMIERE OF 'DAMAGE'!
Plenty of Star Power was on parade on the red carpet, at the premiere of Uche Jombo's movie, 'Damage'. Nollywood was well represented as many came together to support their 'girl' at the premiere of her new movie. Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Stella Damasus, Tonto Dikeh, Ini Edo,Daniel and Doris Ademinikan, Omoni Oboli, Blessing Effiom-Egbe, Funke Akindele, Yul Edochie, Queen Okoye, Ali Nuhu and the list goes on! 'DAMAGE' SET TO PREMIERE AT SILVERBIRD GALLERIA LAGOS!
'Damage' the latest offering from Uche Jombo is set to premiere on July 31st 2011 at the Silverbird Cinemas and from there, for onward release in cinemas nationwide! 'Damage' is part of a collection of three distinct but interwoven stories, aimed at advocacy for social issues; each story addresses important problems affecting individuals, families and societies at large. The movie aims to break new grounds in creating precedents in the Nigerian movie industry. After the run in theatres in Nigeria it is set for release in the United Kingdom on the 26th to the 29th of August. Plans for it to show in the United States in October is also on ground. Damage will be screening in Cinemas across the country as from August 5th.

The Premiere of the film, 'Kiss and Tell' has come and gone but it is one that will not go away anytime soon in memories of those who attended.
The event started at about 5pm with photographs being taken on the Red Carpet set at the Rotunda of Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island, Lagos.Stars present that rocked the house were Uche Jombo, Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha, Joe Benjamin, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Brian Okwara, O.C.Ukeje, Kalu Ikeagwu, Stephanie Okereke,Enyinna Nwigwe, Susan Peters and several others. It was a mixing and mingling of personalities from the corporate world like Shell, Diamond bank, Zenith bank, RAA staff, student and alumni as well as Government officials. They all mingled with several talents from Nollywood such as veteran producers , directors; Mahmood AliBalogun, Zik Zulu Okafor, Fred Amata, Sam Dede etc and upcoming talents like Uru Eke, Chelsea Eze, Beverly Naya, Bryan Okwarra etc. Ofcourse also present were hosts Monalisa Chinda and Emem Isong seeing to it that everything worked out okay. Popular Television stations (which were well represented) were MNET's JARA tv show, Nollywood Movies on Sky UK, STV, Nigezie, Galaxy TV to name a few and various print media such as Genevieve Magazine, Wow! City People etc.
While this was going on there were cocktails, small chops on hand to quench rumbling stomachs and parched throats! This lasted till about 8pm when guests were ushered upstairs to watch the much anticipated movie, 'Kiss and Tell. After the crowd was treated to a couple of upcoming trailers the movie proper started. A hush fell over the hall as all were sucked into the story between Iyke and Delphine (characters played by Monalisa and Joesph Benjamin. I tell you, a new Nollywood hunk has been born! Joe Benjamin is the shiznit! lol! Antics from Nse Ikpe Etim, Desmond Elliot,Uche Jombo and ofcourse Monalisa Chinda added the cherry to the cake! The movie ended to thunderous applause and all let the hall with their 'Kiss and Tell' goodie bags. Executive producer, Monalisa Chinda could not contain her emotions, close to tears she said; 'I am so overwhelmed at the turn out! People standing... many sitting on the floor just to get a glimpse of the movie! God is truly awesome. Emem Isong was also of like mind; 'All I can say is God is indeed great! We have been surprised beyond measure. I just want to thank everyone for coming and enjoin those that couldn't catch it to go watch it when it comes out in the cinemas'. Selected guests then went on to the After party at high brow club,'The Marque' at the Mega Plaza Complex where they danced into the wee hours of the morning!
'Kiss and Tell' continues to run in cinemas from the 1st of July 2011 at all Silverbird Cinemas nationwide. A recommended Must watch! Enjoy more pics!

KISS AND TELL PREMIERES IN LAGOS!
Ok! It's official! ROYAL ARTS ACADEMY ROLLS OUT 'I'LL TAKE MY CHANCES'
Camera! Lights! Action! The action began rolling on the set of 'I'll Take My Chances' - A Royal Arts Academy Production. The film is executive produced by Ini Edo & Emem Isong and cast & crew began shoot on the first leg of the movie in Lagos including former Mr Nigeria hottie, Bryan Okwarra. Enjoy some behind-the scene pics from the shoot. More pix coming soon as well as exclusive interviews with the major cast and crew. The second leg of the shoot takes place in Calabar and all hands are on deck to make sure it is a world-class production, able to stand anywhere in the world! BURSTING OUT set to be released in March.
The much awaited movie BURSTING OUT will finally be bursting out in Nigeria. This has been confirmed by Emem Isong, veteran and prolific movie producer and Chairman/CEO of Royal Arts Academy, the company that produced the movie. According to Emem Isong, massive orders have already been made for copies of the movie which was premiered on August 8th 2010 at the Silverbird Cinemas. Those who have been waiting for the release of this movie will clearly find it worth the wait as the movie is packed with comedy, passion and intense scenes.
BURSTING OUT is a romantic comedy and tells the story of Zara (Genevieve Nnaji) a high flying corporate executive who is single and has to withstand the pressure placed on her by society and her best friends to settle down.
The movie stars Africa’s biggest movie actress, Genevieve Nnaji, Majid Michel, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Omoni Oboli, Susan Peters, Uti Nwachukwu (Winner- Big Brother Africa All Stars) amongst others and was directed by Desmond Elliot and Daniel Ademinokan.
