On
Wednesday July 24th, the 2012 Batch ‘A’ students of Royal Arts
Academy had their final exams. The students were required to put all they had
learnt into performance before a panel of judges which included:
Yinka Ogun: Renowned screenwriter and creator
of the Mnet soap opera ‘Tinsel’
Doris: Screenwriter, producer and director.
Uduak
Isong Oguamanam: Screenwriter & producer who is also the Managing Director
of Royal Arts Academy.
Anthony
Kehinde Joseph: Screenwriter & teacher at Royal Arts Academy.
Each
student performed two monologues after which their performances were appraised
by the judges. Yinka Ogun rewarded a lucky student, Miriam Usifo a role on his
production while Nollywood actress Uche Jombo had a talk with them
where she emphasized the importance of hardwork and dedication in the quest to
make it in the movie industry and that nothing good comes easy.
