ROYAL ARTS ALUMNI TO GET THEIR CINEMA DEBUT.


3 former students of Royal Arts Academy will be getting their cinema debut as the movie ‘UDEME MMI’ hits the big screens.

Belinda Effah, Grace Johnson and Vanessa Koko are all alumni students of Royal Arts Academy who starred in the Emem Isong production.

UDEME MMI will be premiered on the 20th of September 2012 at the Tropicana Cinemaplex, Uyo Akwa Ibom State and will start screening in Uyo cinemas from the 21st

UDEME MMI TO PREMIERE ON SEPTEMBER 20TH


Come 20th September 2012 in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Royal Arts Academy will be premiering Udeme Mmi one of their newest productions and their first Ibibio movie to be shown in cinemas.

A family drama laced with humor, Udeme Mmi has amongst its cast, Belinda Effah, Moses Armstrong, Imeh Bishop Umoh, Obongawan Bennett James amongst others.

ALUMNI IN THE SPOTLIGHT: LILLIAN 'LEELEE' BYOMA

Lillian Byoma

Lillian 'Leelee' Byoma who hails from Kaduna State, was one of the pioneering students of Royal Arts Academy. 

Originally a screenwriting student, she took her shot at acting when she auditioned for a role in 'Catwalq' a soap opera produced by Royal Arts Academy. Her audition was successful and she landed the role of Biola, a secretary and one of the chief gossips in Catwalq.

Since then, Lillian has gone on to star in other movie and stage productions such as "I'll take my chances"for Royal Arts Academy, "Love is Not Enough" for PSI multimedia, “Echoes” for Galaxy TV and “Obstacle Race" for Black Heritage Festival with Wole Oguntokun.

She also made her screenwriting debut with Royal Arts Academy’s new TV series, “A Perfect Love”. Her most recent project is acting the role of Chima in an Emem Isong film"Mrs. Somebody".

"Hoodrush", where she plays the vibrant Presenter will be out in cinemas later this year.

OFFICIAL POSTER & TRAILER FOR THE MOVIE: UDEME MMI


This September, Royal Arts Academy will be releasing another addition to their portfolio of movies titled 'Udeme Mmi'

Udeme Mmi tells the story of Ima, the only child of a wealthy and doting father who indulges her. He dies unexpectedly, leaving Ima alone in the world and heir to his massive wealth and estates but under one condition; she has to be married.

To resolve the situation, Ima marries Asuquo in a bid to help her claim her inheritance but little did she know that Asuquo had other plans.

'HOLDING HOPE' & 'BROKEN SILENCE' NOW OUT ON SALE!

Royals Arts Academy has just released two movies in DVD format. They are 'Holding Hope' & 'Broken Silence'.  

Sidney Badmus (Desmond Elliot) is the handsome, charming playboy of a son who is the heir apparent to the Badmus vast fortunes.  Unfortunately his love for fine wines and women have made him highly unsuitable for the job.  An irresponsible, alcoholic Sydney’s  philandering has caused his mother Mrs Badmus (Biola Williams) a lot of sadness and concern, making her take some drastic measures to  forestall the inevitable collapse of the Badmus Empire if left in his hands.  Enter Hope,(Uche Jombo) the delectable, hardworking and prudent Group Accountant.  Not only does Mrs Badmus  see her as her prodigy, she sees her as the daughter she never had and decides secretly schemes to make Sidney marry her. This plan is met with serious resistance from not just Sydney  but his piranha of a girlfriend, Sabina (Nadia Buari) who will stop at nothing to see that Sydney is hers and the Badmus millions remain within their grasp…




Broken Silence; Gerald (Uti Nwachukwu) is a high flying playboy whose world comes tumbling down when his older brother dies and leaves him with a young son. He takes the boy in despite protests from his fiancee but what he doesn't bargain for is just how different his life will become.....
